Carnatic Vocal Concert
Carnatic Vocal Concert by R.K Padmanabha. A gifted vocalist, Sri Padmanabha’s performances are a treat to rasikas, and his concerts command amongst the highest crowds in the field of classical music. His efforts to draw attention to sruti alignment and voice culture in Carnatic music have led to increased awareness about these among musicians and audience.

Live Performance
Swarathma a Bangalore based Indian Folk/fusion band will be performing at Hard Rock Cafe. The current line up features Vasu Dixit (vocals and rhythm guitar), Pavan Kumar KJ (percussion and backing vocals), Montry Manuel (drums), Varun (lead guitar), Sanjeev Nayak (violin) and Jishnu Dasgupta (bass guitar and backing vocals).

Lecture series
A five-day lecture series on 'Ladder of Success' (Based on Sadhana Chatustaya) as a part of the 19th Aradhana (Mahasamadhi day) of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji will be organised by Chinmaya Mission, Bengaluru.
The talks will be held at Deenabandhu Devsathanam, CMH Road of Indiranagar from July30 at 6:30pm in the evening in English by Brni. Kirti Chaitanya.
The programme will culminate with the Aradhana Day Satsang and puja on August 3.

Multimedia Lecture Series
Koramangala based Natyasruti will be organising 'Multimedia Lecture Series' at the Indian Heritage Academy Hall in Koramangala 6th Block on June 25, July 2, July 3 and July 9. It will be held at 6pm on those days. On the first day (June 25) noted author Vikram Sampath will speak on 'The Lords of 33 Villages' - Mysore under the Wodeyars (1399-1950). Vikram Sampath is the author of two widely acclaimed books: 'Splendours of Royal Mysore: the untold story of the Wodeyars' and 'My name is Gauhar Jaan!--the life and times of a musician'. The lecture will take you on a journey through the highs and lows of the marvelous Wodeyar dynasty of South India-- right from its establishment in 1399, its period of glory, its eclipse, its subsequent reinstatement, and its contribution to the fields of art, music and culture. Students of Natyasruti will make brief music and dance presentations relevant to the topic of the day before every lecture.
